Internship Program

Beyond Counseling partners with Grand Canyon University to train graduate counseling students in a bilingual, team-based private practice. Our interns build clinical skills with a diverse caseload while learning how a group outpatient practice operates.

Interns receive training in play therapy and couples counseling, and gain experience with individual, child, adolescent, and family clients. All interns provide services under the supervision of licensed clinicians, and clients are informed of intern status before services begin.

We invest in the interns we train. When positions open, we hire from within our intern program, so our internship can be a direct path to joining the practice as an associate clinician.
